My short few days in Santorini left me wanting to stay much longer

Last month I took you to Cartagena, and this month we’re headed to Greece. I’m serving up some serious wanderlust with Santorini as the feature for this month’s armchair travel post. Officially known at Thira, Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. Not that you need more reasons to visit Santorini, but in case it wasn’t yet on your list, let’s have a look.

While Santorini is a small island, and you can see it all in just a few days, you may find yourself wanting to stay much longer. It has two main cities, Fira and Oia. Their whitewashed houses cling to the cliffside. Santorini is picturesque from everywhere you go as endless views of the Aegean Sea can be seen from the entire island.

The iconic images of Santorini’s cliffside, the unparalleled sunsets and the fresh seafood will all have you wishing you could jet off into the sunset, literally.

Writing this post, I began reminiscing about my trip. Editing these images gave me a serious case of wanderlust! I’m sure that you now want to hop on a plane as much as I do! Santorini is a beautiful place to visit.
