I have some very exciting news to report! This past Saturday I met with the owner and founder of Public Myth, a local Vancouver company that makes fitness clothing. We had a great visit and they have offered me a position as one of their Brand Ambassadors for Public Myth. I’m quite honoured to have been chosen and of course, I said yes!
I love their brand, their style and all of their clothes. If you aren’t familiar with them, check out their website www.publicmyth.com. They aren’t your typical workout clothing company, their clothes have an edge to them, which I love because strong is the new sexy!

As a Brand Ambassador for Public Myth, I will be wearing their clothing and promoting them for a period of at least 6 months. I feel very strongly about the fact that we vote with our dollars. Shopping local is something I try to do as often as possible.
As a Fitness Instructor, I am very excited to teach my group fitness classes in my new workout gear. I’m honoured to help to support a local, Vancouver company. My students often ask me what I’m wearing, or which workout gear I recommend. I am happy to recommend a local, Vancouver company instead of a big name brand.
When it comes to fitness clothing, how it looks is only the beginning. The fit, the comfort level, and of course your ability to move in the clothing are very important. So is being able to a squat jump without having your yoga pants become see-through.
We all know that Vancouver has another local fitness company, but Public Myth is much smaller than Lululemon. I proudly wear both Vancouver brands often.
