Christmas has not been canceled at The Pawn Shop, thanks to this festive event
I get it, things may seem bleak for Christmas 2020. This should come as no surprise for this dumpster fire of a year, but all is not lost. Some of Vancouver’s festive events are still happening. To see which ones, check out my 8 Awesome Winter Adventures in Vancouver You’ll Love. It may now be down to 6, but that’s why I’m here today. I am offering you another idea to help make up for the 3 events that are no longer happening – the Miracle Christmas Pop-up Cocktail Bar.
If you don’t live in Vancouver, check their website to see if there is a pop-up location near you. There are locations all across Canada and the US, as well as some international locations as well.
If you are struggling to get into the holiday spirit, as many of us are, then I have the cure for you! Book yourself a visit to the Miracle Pop-up happening at The Pawn Shop on Granville Street. Santa’s elves have turned this taco bar into the North Pole. No joke. The explosion of Christmas decorations makes you feel as though you have been transported to Santa’s house.
Upon entering, you will stroll through a walkway of beautifully-decorated Christmas Trees. You can vote for your favourite one should you wish to do so. At the end is a gold frame, an obvious Instagram-worthy photo-op.
Miracle is a Christmas-themed pop-up cocktail bar that aims to get even the grouchiest Grinch into the holiday spirit. With cocktails named Christmapolitan, Bad Santa, Jolly Koala and more, you are sure to eat, drink and be merry. My personal favourite was the Santarex, pictured below. I mean, come on, how amazing is this mug?!

The idea of Miracle started back in 2014 at one NYC bar, expanding to 4 locations in 2016. It has since expanded to include pop-ups all over the world. Miracle is spreading their Christmas cheer worldwide in 2020, and I think we could all use a little extra cheer this year. The full list of cocktails and can be found online on the Miracle Cocktails Menu.

In short, if you’re struggling to get into the holiday spirit, or just want to indulge in some holiday spirits, then this is the place for you. I feel I need to go back as there are a few cocktails I didn’t try. I really just want to order the Yippie Kai Yay Mother … and drink out of a Christmas barrel.
This event runs until December 27th. With limited reservations, book now to avoid disappointment. With part of the proceeds going to charity, you can feel good about drinking your way to help spread more Christmas cheer.
Pop-up dining events are something that I really enjoy doing. When Dinner in a dome came to Vancouver, I checked that out as well. Are you on to check out pop-up dining experiences?
